The A Cappella Blog seeks new contributors
As The A Cappella Blog prepares to launch new content this winter, we are looking for new contributors to offer some different perspectives for the site.
We are specifically interested in columnists, and regional contributors.
Columnists: We are looking for columnists to write weekly or bi-weekly opinion-based columns about collegiate a cappella. We are very flexible regarding content, style and length of columns. We are looking for reliable, creative people, with strong writing skills. We hope to bring in two to five columnists.
Regional Contributors: We are looking for Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest and Midwest regional contributors from the United States, and are interested in hearing from individuals who are interested in contributing from abroad. Contributors will write detailed event reviews of at least two ICCA competitions in the 2008 competition season, preferably within the geographic area for which they signed up. Technical knowledge and experience performing in collegiate a cappella are preferred, but not necessary. Contributors will be expected to clearly state any bias they may hold (for example, if they currently, or formerly performed with a particular collegiate group). We hope to bring in two regional contributors for each of the aforementioned regions.
Joining us as a columnist or regional contributor will give you the opportunity to become a part of one of the fastest growing a cappella sites on the Internet. If you would like to become a part of The A Cappella Blog team, please send an e-mail to mikec at acappellablog.com with "A Cappella Blog Application" in the subject line. I will write back to you with information about our simple application process.
