Lady Antebellum's A Cappella Contest, A Cappella at The Rochester Fringe Festival, ACappellaFest Updates

-Lady Antebellum has launched an a cappella contest through which groups can enter videos of themselves covering Lady Antebellum songs for a chance to perform with Lady Antebellum in Nashville (travel provided by Southwest Airlines. You can access more details here.

-Attention a cappella fans in Western New York--The Rochester Fringe Festival started today and will feature performances by a number of area a cappella groups, including University of Rochester After Hours, The University of Rochester Yellow Jackets, The Roc City Singers, Rochester Institute of Techonology (RIT) Surround Sound, RIT Encore A Cappella, RIT Proof of Purchase, RIT Vocal Accent, and RIT Eight Beat Measure. -Chicago's ACappellaFest is just a month away. Today the organizers announced the prizes for the college competition:

3rd Place:
• 10%-15% discount on ACF 2013*

2nd Place:
• 2nd pick on Masterclass facilitators
• 25% discount on ACF 2013
• 50% discount on 1 year CASA membership

1st Place:
• 1st pick on Masterclass Facilitators
• 50% discount on ACF 2013
• Participation in Collaborative Recording
• 75% discount on 1-year CASA membership
