ICCA Wild Card Winner Announced, Jewish A Cappella Competition, Sing-Off Auditions, and a Video to Benefit Victims of Tragedy in Japan
-Earlier this week, Varsity Vocals announced the results of the ICCA National Wild Card Round. Courtesy of varsityvocals.com, the results are as follows:
1. Vanderbilt University's The Melodores (410 Points)
2. Northeastern University's The Nor'easters (326 Points)
3. New York University's The N'Harmonics (324 Points)
The Melodores, who originated in the South region, wil compete at The ICCA Finals in New York on April 16, joining ICCA South Champions, The FSU Acabelles; ICCA Northeast Champions, Berklee College of Music Pitch Slapped; ICCA West Champions, Brigham Young University Vocal Point; ICCA Midwest Champions, The Washington University of St. Louis Stereotypes, and ICCa Mid-Atlantic Champions, The SUNY Buffalo Buffalo Chips.

-Speaking of The Sing-Off, a group of Sing-Off all-stars, Peter Hollens, Courtney Jensen, and Therry Thomas have released the fantastic a cappella video displayed below, a cover of Justin Bieber's "Pray." Proceeds from the sale of this song on iTunes will benefit recovery efforts in Japan.
