-This March, Waynesboro Area Senior High School in PA will host the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association Region 5 State Chorus Festival. This three-day event include rehearsals, auditions and a grand finale concert. Organizers are currently seeking collegiate a cappella groups to perform at the festival. -Attention Jewish a cappella groups-- Shalshelet is accepting submissions of new Jewish liturgical music for its 5th International Festival in Miami. The deadline is May 1, 2012.
-Mia Michelle McClain, an alum of the Syracuse University a cappella scene, has launched a Kickstarter campaign called A Song About Peace - Using Music to Heal the World. Funding will facilitate recording an original song with prominent a cappella figures, to spread a great message.
