Postyr Project
Amidst the a cappella scene within our own borders it's easy to lose sight of what's going on around the world. In International Spotlight we introduce readers to groups that are making noise (not to mention incredible music) in foreign lands.
Postyr Project performs under the moniker “the electronic vocal group.” Indeed the, five-person crew from Denmark has developed a sound uniquely its own, focused on writing and arranging music specifically for a cappella, and using the best technology available, from looping stations to mixing software, to enhance their sound. Though the membership has undergone some changes since the group’s founding in 2009, Postyr Project has lost none of its momentum, recording an EP, singing at The Spot Festival and Aarhus Vocal Festival, and touring throughout Europe. US fans can check out the group live at this year's Boston Sings (BOSS) a cappella festival in April.
