Heck, even for those of us who do actively enjoy it, it can be difficult to put into words why we enjoy this art form so. While we’ll never have a truly comprehensive list of everything cool about a cappella, 200 Reasons to Love A Cappella is our best attempt at assembling a list of what makes it great.

Here at The A Cappella Blog, we take a lot of photos. Some of these photos are hilarious, as all of the drama and intensity of a moment of performance transforms into something downright comedic and a still frame. Some of these photos serve as reminders of remarkable moments, triggering moments of how he felt when we first heard the music and inspiring repeated YouTube viewings of the show that was.
And then there are my favorite photos of all. These are the moments of sheer passion—the ones that aren’t necessarily about dramatic poses or money notes, but that nonetheless capture one or people 100 percent at home on stage, doing what they love, making beautiful sounds, painting a beautiful picture
