Ithacappella on American Idol, The Silver Chord Bowl, BYU Vocal Point Workshop, and InVox Seeking Members

-Ithaca College Ithacappella will be featured on national television twice in the weeks ahead. The first appearance will occur on this Wednesday's episode of American Idol singing their version of "Pants on the Ground." Then, on Monday, March 1, the group will make an appearance on The Price is Right. More information about both showings is available here.

-There's more than football to look forward to on next weekend's Super Bowl Sunday, as the big day will also see Silver Chord Bowl, an annual a cappella event in Northampton, MA that sells about 2,000 tickets a year. This year's performers are scheduled to be The Tufts Beelzebubs, The NYU N'Harmonics, The Dartmouth Aires, The UMASS vocal Suspects, The Syracuse University Mandarins, Smith College Groove, as well as Sonos and The Northamptones. -Brigham Young University Vocal Point will conduct a free workshop on the fundamentals of a cappella next Saturday, February 6, on the Illinois College campus in Jacksonville, IL, with a focus on the group's much celebrated rendition of "Thriller." The group will also perform at the college that night. More information is available here.
